Wrapping Up 2022 - Final Market Update

Hi, I’m Jacob Evans from Peter Fisher Real Estate. 2022 has been a huge year for us at Peter Fisher, celebrating 50 years in business. We have been fortunate to be able to celebrate this with the community and our clients during the year at some special events.

Some of the highlights have been the art classes, Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea, the Australian National Field Days, and a variety of giveaways. We hope you too have enjoyed our celebrations because without our clients and community, we would not be able to reach this significant milestone.

We have continued to see a very strong market in 2022. We have seen the median house price increase 19.4% in the last 12 months. Peter Fisher has sold over 120 properties in the year for a total sales price of $90 million.

The market has plateaued over the last few months, although we have not seen the decline of our city counterparts. Buyer inquiry is still quite strong, and we have a number of new and exciting properties ready to hit the market in the new year.

Property management has also had a huge year in 2022, where we have leased 197 new properties and had 88 new managements. There has been a very low vacancy rate throughout the year with the market consistently sitting at under 1%.
