Thursday, 4 June 2020 – Biggest Morning Tea

We held our annual Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday morning although this year was quite different as our gathering was held virtually via a Zoom meeting! Different but successful with our team’s generous donations reaching over $600. Go Team!!

Also a special thank you to Cathy and Tim of Magic’s Meats for their very generous donation.

December 2019 – Just before Christmas we met with Tommy from Tommy’s Truck Hay Run who provides much needed supplies and relief for farmers in drought ravaged parts of NSW. It’s a wonderful initiative and the work and effort put in by Tommy is amazing. Instead of buying gifts for our Secret Santa this year we gladly donated to Tommy’s cause. Even though it’s just a drop in the ocean of what’s needed to support our struggling farmers we were glad to help out and we wish we could do more. Thank you Tommy and team and to our farmers who are the backbone of this country, we are thinking of you and wishing every day for drought-breaking rain.

Saturday, 9 November 2019 – Orange Open Gardens 2019

Saturday 9 November saw us at The Garden Hub at Orange Public School as part of the wonderful community event Orange Open Gardens 2019.

Even though it was a little chilly, we enjoyed our time at The Hub handing out sample bags and chatting with people as they came through to get their tickets.

Thank you to the students of OPS who helped us hand out bags on the day – Noah from Year 5 and his crew (sorry we didn’t get everyone’s names!!) and the lovely Tilly.

October 2019 – Orange Open Gardens

This month our partnership with the Orange Open Gardens event was announced. This event is a major fundraiser for Orange Public School and this year will take place on Saturday, 9 November.

Adam and the Principal of Orange Public School, Mr Brad Tom are pictured here as the event was launched on 1 October.

We are looking forward to being involved in such a fantastic community event and can’t wait to see all the beautiful gardens. Tickets will be on sale soon so keep an eye out, you don’t want to miss it!

Congratulations to all the dancers who performed. You are all so talented! Thank you also to the Committee Members who warmly welcomed and assisted Adam with the presentation.

We recently held a fundraiser in our office to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House and we used the money raised to buy iTunes cards and a range of colouring and activity books for kids visiting the house to use.

It was lovely to meet with Rebecca and Narelle from Ronald McDonald House today so we could give them the items. We hope that the kids staying at Ronald McDonald House get a lot of enjoyment from them and it keeps them entertained while Mum and Dad grab a quick cuppa and put their feet up for five.

We were very impressed and inspired by the dedication of everyone involved at Ronald McDonald House and particularly by the dedicated volunteers like Narelle, who volunteer their time and energy to helping out.

We were so pleased to be a part of this wonderful opportunity during August where 15 local Agencies raised and donated $15,000 to Rural Aid Australia to help aid our struggling farmers.

Orange is a town blessed with fantastic community spirit and it felt great to be able to come together with other local agents for something so worthwhile. It was a fantastic fundraising effort by all involved and we hope it helps where it’s needed most.  Thank you Michael for representing us so well.

We are very proud supporters of the arts in Orange and June 3 saw the Orange Symphony Orchestra and the Colour city Chamber Orchestra present a hugely popular concert including the world premiere performance by local composer and musician Amy Stevens.

The performances on the day were very well received and we are pleased to be able to contribute to this worthy program so the Symphony can continue with their exciting orchestral offerings.
