Hi, I’m Adam Savage from Peter Fisher Real Estate.

The real estate market in Orange continues to be quite strong with more listings slowly coming onto the market. And whilst the overall buyer numbers are down, there’s a higher percentage of people looking that are genuine buyers.

Currently the medium house price in Orange is $680,000. Average days on market to sell a house is 46 days. 49% of those buyers come from out of area, mainly the Eastern suburbs and lower north shore of Sydney. And 51% are in area buyers from the Orange post code.

Peter Fisher continues to celebrate our 50th anniversary throughout 2022. And recently we held two events, a biggest morning tea and art in the park classes, which were very well received and a lot of fun for all that attended. These two events together raised in excess of $3,000 that was donated to Cancer Council. Thank you to everyone that participated and kindly donated.

I often get asked what are some of the best things I can do when preparing my property for sale? The first thing I would recommend is to open up and let natural light in all your rooms. And if you are lucky enough to have that perfect aspect where you just can’t beat winter sunshine beaming into a room.

Secondly, I would recommend decluttering throughout the whole house pack up and move all your unwanted furniture, odds, and ends into boxes and store them in the garage. This will make each room appear bigger and be easier to navigate around. Also, what gives you a head start to when you finally do sell and move out.
