Market Update - October 2021

Hi, I’m Chris from Peter Fisher Real Estate here to give you a bit of a market wrap up for October. I would firstly like to say thank you so much to all our buyers, all our vendors, everyone we’ve been working with over the last couple of months throughout these COVID restrictions. Been a lot of changes, a lot of restrictions easing, so thank you for your patience, it’s been great.

So, moving forward into November, we’re really excited. Restrictions are easing again, we’re finding there’s a lot more interest from outside of Orange, starting to open back up now that travel restrictions are finishing. Although, the vast majority of buyers we’re finding is local owner occupies from Orange and from around the area. So keep in touch with us, we’ve got some great properties coming up.

A couple of highlights from me. We’ve got a nearly brand new three bedroom home in South Orange here in the market in the next week, and in a few weeks’ time, very exciting, huge five bedroom expansive house, only moments from the Wentworth Golf Club on five acres.

A few quick stats from the office for the month. This month we’ve had 12 properties put under offer, we’ve sold and exchanged 14 properties, which is off the back of a huge 21 properties last month. So things are very, very active, moving very quickly. We’re finding a lot of people are still struggling sometimes to get into the market. Come and talk to us, send us an email, give us a call, all the agents are more than happy to work with you and try and find the right property to suit your needs.

We are coming into the Christmas period, as much as I hate to say it, very, very quickly. We’re about eight weeks away. So, what that means from a property perspective is that we need to be getting properties on the market soon in order to get them exchanged and our under way, ready for Christmas.

If you are looking to sell, we’d recommend getting in touch with us early, even if you’re looking at selling in January, February, and get that process started, because solicitors will shut down. There’s small shutdowns even in our office over the Christmas break, so preparation is key. Have a chat to us, we’ll see if we can make this as easy as possible for you and just get ahead of the game and make your life easier as well.

So, we’re really excited in the office at Peter Fisher, next year moving into 2022 marks 50 years of servicing and looking after the Orange community as a real estate office. Something we’re very proud of. We’ve got a long history of being family-owned business, and we’re looking forward to showing you a few things that have happened and changed throughout the years, but also touch on what we are doing to progress forward and make sure we’re on the forefront for your real estate experience.
