Orange is known as the ’Colour City’ or Food Basket’ and is the ‘hub’ of the Central West, it is located 3.5-4 hours drive west of Sydney. Orange has some of the best wine makers and gourmet food producers in Australia.

Orange has a number of beautiful Parks & Gardens, such as the Botanical Gardens, Cook Park, Robertson Park, and the Mount Canobolas, Lake Canobolas for Bushwalking, Boating, Canooing and Fishing.

The Food of Orange District (F.O.O.D Week) is an annual event held over 10 days - usually in April. The Orange and Cabonne areas are known as ’The Food Basket’ of NSW and each year F.O.O.D. Week supports local produce and ’fine food’ showcasing the producers, their products, the local chefs and restaurants.

Orange Winefest: Orange Wine Week. The Orange Region Winefest is held annually in October. The Festival celebrates Orange winemakers it is a week-long, festival celebrating all the good things that Orange has to offer. Welcome in Spring and enjoy the beauty of the region with wine tastings, art shows, special lunches and dinners, live music, and produce markets.
